Still no Windows 7 x64 Drivers

I got a much simpler way of doing this and should have thought of this from the beginning. Defeat the checking of unsigned drivers in a boot-up by pressing F8 and choosing disable check of signatures on drivers. Now continue boot. Check to see NDS Adapter Plus works...it does! Now since I use hibernate (sleep works too), I find the driver is working all the time now. In reality I never needed to use your program since I no longer need the driver signed. MS really needs to stop the greed thing every chance they get.

What hope are you giving up there? Did you not read what I wrote dude?
Reboot your PC and while rebooting press the F8 key until the menu appears and choose Turn Off Digital Signatures for drivers. You don't need that on period. This will allow NDS Adapter Plus to work perfectly. Do it already and get on with your life and your fun.
Good Luck!!!

How goes the updating of the drivers for this? found my old EMS today and was kinda sad to notice that it doesn't work in win7 64, and the last update in this thread at least was around a year ago.
Any new progress?

Are you running Windows 7 Pro? Home edition? Where are you located? Perhaps if outside USA there is an advanced options tab on the menu? It should be there. I will check the home edition win7 32 bit we have. So far, all windows 7 pro 32 and 64 bit has this option for us here.

I'm just posting to say that I'm very disappointed at the lack of support for this product, and that I won't be purchasing any products from this manufacturer again unless a proper set of drivers is released.

They are not going to pay Microsoft the signature fee. On the note of support, they also need to get going and see why certain games don't show up for backup like Madden 3DS. btw...if you think this is poor support try coming over to the Cyclods iEVO boards...no support as if they fell off the planet. Weird.

Just checked another PC here with Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit..and it has that option in boot up options...meaning disable driver signature enforcement...you can turn it off. So I don't know what is going on with other people here on what editions they are running and whether it matter if they are in certain countries.

So which set of drivers should I be attempting to install, then? I tried the ones for Vista 32 bit, seemed to install fine but they didn't actually do anything. Also, you keep mentioning the NDS Adapter Plus, how is that related to the EMS USB2?

Sorry...it does not directly. I was suggesting since the trick of disabling driver signature check works with NDS PLUS...that maybe that trick would work here too. I don't know which driver you need but I would presume if you are running 32 bit...then 32 bit..and 64 bit...then that one.

Pretty sure that signature trick doesnt work with w7 64 bit. I tried everything and then some before coming upw ith the method i posted on page 7.
Even with drivers unsigned, they dont appear in the game controllers or the devices section. But if you use some hardware scanning software you see windows does see the inputs, and has even gamepad # assigned to them.

Thank you so very much! it works flawlessly! 8.4.5 works too apparently, but you gotta get into test mode manually through the command prompt. Once you run ppjoy, add a virtual joystick, set it to 4 axes 16 buttons 0 caps. I set mine as x y z and zrot, and buttons 0-15 or 1-16 or something liket hat... thats what it defaulted anyway. Dont use the scan thing, has nothing to do with mapping keys... took me a while to figure it out since its not intuitive. Kay once you do that close ppjoy. and run "PPJoy Joystick Driver\PPJoyJoy.exe" this is the joystick remix program. you have to keep this open as you play. the labled lines on the left are according to the virtual joystick you setup. middle you pick ems usb 2 (theres two, one for each controller, for me the left side is the second ems listed) then x y z zrot for the ps2 sticks, and buttons 1-16 for the buttons. Once everything is there, you dont really have to accept anything, its already running (save the ini for loading next time you wanna use the controller). the device should show up on the devices and printers for testing like a normal windows controller labeled virtual joystick. but its input is actually the ems controller that wont show up.
