Ive gotten the adapter to show USB Input device, but within it, its blank and not showing the two game controllers. However POSWDM from www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/gadgets.htmcorrectly detects all the inputs from the controllers, and joyids also detects them. As do some emulators... but windows wont detect it so software that tries to find the pads through windows just cant see them.

Found a roundabout way to get windows to recognize the inputs as a game controller by making a virtual joystick in ppjoy 8.4.6
ill post more details if folk cant figure it out and are interested. so far seems to be working well with all the windows games.

Can you give me more details on that please? Poswdm detects the buttons as you said, but ppjoy doesn't. I have installed it correctly.

8.4.5 works too apparently, but you gotta get into test mode manually through the command prompt.
Once you run ppjoy, add a virtual joystick, set it to 4 axes 16 buttons 0 caps. I set mine as x y z and zrot, and buttons 0-15 or 1-16 or something liket hat... thats what it defaulted anyway. Dont use the scan thing, has nothing to do with mapping keys... took me a while to figure it out since its not intuitive.
Kay once you do that close ppjoy. and run "PPJoy Joystick Driver\PPJoyJoy.exe" this is the joystick remix program.
you have to keep this open as you play.
the labled lines on the left are according to the virtual joystick you setup. middle you pick ems usb 2 (theres two, one for each controller, for me the left side is the second ems listed) then x y z zrot for the ps2 sticks, and buttons 1-16 for the buttons.
Once everything is there, you dont really have to accept anything, its already running (save the ini for loading next time you wanna use the controller).
the device should show up on the devices and printers for testing like a normal windows controller labeled virtual joystick. but its input is actually the ems controller that wont show up.

If you setup the virtual joystick same as me, then in ppjoyjoy just make the left colum match the right one.
x axis : ems usb joypad2 x axis
button 3: ems usb joypad 2 button 3
and so on

Any update on a viable driver? It's been over a year and a half since they promised a win7 64bit compatible driver. I have this thing just sitting around : \

I too would appreciate a driver update so that the device works under Windows 7 x64. Nearly two full years have passed since this thread was started. I'm hoping for a fast development of the driver.

I already posted information on this issue and how to solve it for now. Reboot your PC and while it restarts press F8 to enter Windows Menu. Look down the listings and you will see Disable Digital Signature Security Check. You don't need it on as all this is doing is checking if the driver was signed by Microsoft...which means...the company paid a fee. This nonsense of using that other program and going into test mode is just silly. I have been using the NDS Adapter Plus for weeks now and have no trouble backing up and restoring my saves. BTW...nothing has happened to any of my other drivers as well by doing this. ciao
