Hello, I recently upgraded to windows 7 64-bit. I'm pleased to see the forums for an adapter I bought like 10 years ago still active Is there going to be a Win7 x64 driver for the EMS2USB / EMS USB2 (Which is the correct writing? I've always wondered). Thanks for your response!

We are currently upgrading our drivers for win7 64bit. #0205 EMS USB2 is on the list, but it would not be ready shortly. I would post here for any news about this.

Is there any update as to when a Windows 7 driver might be released for the EMS USB2 (DualShooter USB2)? As far as my testing goes, no version of Windows 7 will acknowledge it, and only a few programs running in Windows 7 will read it as a usable input device, typically programs designed for Windows XP or earlier. One possible work-around is through use of Joy2Key, a program that will recognize input from the EMS USB2 and allow you to set keyboard buttons to the inputs, but I'm not certain how well this translates to using it for dancing games, which is one of the areas in which the adapter shines as it is the number 1 adapter recommended by StepMania.com. I will try the work-around for now, but please continue work on the Windows 7 upgrade.

Win7 32bit driver is available on our website, but 64bit driver is not ready currently. As I mentioned before, this driver upgrade is in our plan, but it would not be ready shortly.

Could you post the link to the page that has the Win7 32bit driver? The most recent one I see is for Vista. Thank you.
Also, I'd like to add that I have installed this on my Windows 7 laptop and tried both the XP and Vista drivers. I use the joy2key function only, and it works... but I get horrible input lag, at least 1 second lag. Is it b/c I don't have the right driver, or something else?

The Vista 32 driver also works on Win7 32. Regards the lag, may be your PC has something running on the background. (e.g. anti-virus program update) Thanks
