A small warning, if you try to backup the .sav file of the game Shinobi on the 3DS. The save transfer works fine as I have a .sav file of it. But the 3DS cartridge itself factory resets completely. Trying to transfer the .sav file back to the 3DS cart doesn't work as again it factory resets itself.
I'm curious why it happens on this game as it came out around the time Super Mario 3D Land* was released. Used the Firmware v3.03 upgrade (beta) as the current 'firmware' update, not v3.05
*A game that had no issues at all when using the NDS Adapter Plus dongle.

Do you mean, v3.03 works but v3.05 doesn't work ?

No. the time I tried out the Shinobi 3DS save backup I was using.
NDS™ Adaptor Plus v3.03 + Firmware v3.03 upgrade (beta) - which makes a sav file on PC but factory resets the 3DS cart-
I have not done this when using the most recent upgrade.
NDS™ Adaptor Plus v3.03 + Firmware v3.05 upgrade (beta) - "This firmware upgrade adds the support of the game Project X Zone™ (3DS"

Would you please test it with latest farmware v3.05 ?

Ok with the latest firmware. It makes a backup file without factory resetting the 3DS cart and it can load up .sav files generated from the v3.05 version properly. Problem solved
