When I plug in the adapter, it lights up and windows finds new hardware. However, no matter what I do, it does not recognize the driver as being valid. If I try to do it automatically, it doesn't find the driver, and if I try to manually select the driver, it says
"the specified location does not contain information about your hardware"
BTW I asked at a few tech boards, and their answer upon seeing the before and after, is that they can't imagine the one supplied working on any computer as the ClassGUID is required for it to work properly.
OMG - THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for releasing the modded version. HKems' original driver made me going nuts. I tried everything but nothing worked. Now I tried your modded version and it works like a charm.
Again: thank you!
Using: Windows 7 32bit and 64bit - works on both systems
How exactly did you get the windows 64 OS to accept this modded version? I keep getting a no driver signature error. So I am getting by in test mode and then it works. I do not want to keep doing this as it is a pain.
