Driver Installation Guide.
1. download the driver from the link at the top. de-compress it.
2. If you are going to install the driver on a 64bit windows, please follow the guide below to "sign" the .sys files. If not, jump to step 3.

3. Plug the device to USB. Visit device manager, right click the device, select "update driver", and the hardware installation wizard will pop up. Direct it to the de-compressed folder (in step 1).
4. Reboot the computer after the driver installation is complete. (This step is a MUST)

note : one of our customer reported that overzealous settings in an anti-virus protection program (MacAfee) were blocking the driver installation on win7 64bit. With the anti-virus software disabled, the product works perfectly again.

I am extremely happy to let you know that I just figured out what the problem was. Overzealous settings in an anti-virus protection program (MacAfee) were blocking the operation of the EMS inter-link cable, and causing all sorts of other problems I later discovered. It had absolutely nothing to do with Windows 7 or the EMS drivers. With the anti-virus software disabled, my adapter card works perfectly again. Maybe others with similar problems can benefit from my discovery.

Well, #0205 win7 64bit driver is in the list, but it would not be ready soon. It should be ready within this year.

I'd like to applaud EMS for getting 64-bit drivers for these popular products... finally I don't need to go use another computer to backup my NDS saves.

Is there any chance of actually getting these USB drivers signed at any point in the future? The Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider is a very useful program, however it's a bit of a pain to go through that and restart to get into test mode each time I want to use a piece of hardware.

It's not likely. By the way, you only need to use that driver overrider once when you install a new hardware.

Hey sorry to bother you but i just got the nds adaptor plus and i downloaded this driver and used the program to sign the drivers i just put them in the system32 folder, wasn't sure where they should go. Anyway i'm using win 7 64bit and for some reason still after doing that the computer cant find the adapter its still showing up in unknown device.

Hello,
I recently purchased and received the NDS™ Adaptor Plus #0907. I came here looking for Drivers that would allow me to use this with my Windows 7 64-bit operating system. I have followed all of the above instructions to the letter, but when it comes time to install the drivers windows seems to be unable to see them at all.

I open up device manager and brows to the 'unknown device' which corresponds to the NDS™ Adaptor Plus #0907, then I click on Update Driver and then brows to the folder containing the following newly 'signed' files:
EMSLink.inf
EMSLink_amd64.sys (Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b)
EMSLink_i386.sys (Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b)
EMSLink_ia64.sys (Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b)

After I click Next, I get the following message:
"Windows could not find driver software for your device"


and sure enough the software itself still does not work because the drivers won't install. Any advice as to how to get this working would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.
