I think I have an original Trio Linker (purely because there's no PLUS or PLUS II text on it) that I bought years ago. It always worked fine before with a PS2 pad, but now I'm getting no response from it. The Analog light lights up when I press the button but there's just no movement.
I've installed the Trio Linker Plus driver just because I can't find anything more suitable but still nothing is happening. Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers

Are you using windows XP ? Please un-install the driver, plug the Trio Linker to the PC, visit "Control panel" --> "game options", see if you could find the Trio Linker there. Also, if possible, please test with another joypad. In case you still can't get it to work, please email to us. sales@hkems.com Thanks

Yes I have XP. I've uninstalled the driver and plugged the Trio Linker in. In Game Controllers (I assume this is where you meant?) I see "Joypad to USB converter" with a status of OK. Properties show all buttons not pressed and the axis all centred (this is with no pad plugged in).
I connected the pad to the Trio Linker and nothing works, so I removed the Trio Linker and plugged it back in while the pad was still connected and still nothing. This is using a Dual Shock 2 controller that I'm unable to test with a PS2 but was working the last time I tried the Trio Linker.
I've grabbed a Game Cube controller and tried that but with the same results.
At this point I removed the Trio Linker and installed the driver again. Now, when I plug in the Trio Linker I get a sound as if I'm removing the device quickly a couple of times and it no longer shows up in the Game Controllers list, even though it's connected.
It strikes me as it's the Trio Linker that's failed which is disappointing since I never used it as much as I intended on doing, but I shall try this on another PC as soon as I can to see if it's something on my PC that's doing it. The fact that this problem appears on two controllers, one Dual Shock 2 and one Game Cube (that I know works OK) does seem to indicate that the controllers are not at fault though.
As requested, this information has also been emailed

Well, it is likely that your Trio Linker is defective. We provide free repair / replace services for our products, and you just need to pay for the postage. If the result is same on another PC, you may consider to send it back to us. If so, please email us (sales@hkems.com) and we would tell you what to do next. Thanks
