It is strange. In case apply / OK does not really apply the change, you may check if the folder in the program file is "read only". Thanks

You may run the un-installer, and delete the folder in the program file.
By the way, which windows are you running ?

I have this same problem, no matter what I do, the previously selected keys won't piss off to make room for the new ones, instead they stack up (example, I am now jumping AND shooting at the same time with one key) I obviously don't want this to happen, is there anyway that this can ACTUALLY be changed?

It's strange I don't have such problem at all. I tested this joy2key function with the notepad. Here is what I did. 1. set triangle to "A", and apply. I could then type "a" in notepad by hitting the triangle button. 2. set triangle to "B", and apply. I could then type "B" in notepad by hitting the triangle button. 3. set triangle to "Backspace", and apply. I could then backspace the words in notepad by hitting the triangle button. 4. set triangle to "delete", and apply. I could then delete the words in notepad by hitting the triangle button. 5. select the word "delete", beside the triangle logo in the panel, right click and click delete, and the box beside the triangle logo become empty. And then, I click apply. After that, hitting the triangle button would result in nothing.
