Hi. I'm trying to set up my Dreamcast Arcade Stick with the Trio Linker Plus II and use it with the MAME32 emulator but I'm finding that every time I press the esc key on the keyboard to exit the emulator it freezes and the sounds stutters and repeats. This doesn't happen when I don't have the adapter connected.
I tried using the basic command line version of MAME instead but things get even worse and after a few moments on the front menu the emulator stopped responding altogether.
Any ideas on what is going on here and how I should correctly set the controller up?
I'm using Windows XP home edition the Trio Linker Plus II and the latest driver from your website.

Please un-install the driver and test again. If it works without the driver, it should be the problem of our driver. Please kindly tell us your test result by email : sales@hkems.com We would try our best to help you. Thanks.

I had the same problem. I uninstalled the driver, it works without crashing now. mame problem solved.
It's a shame though because I was using the presets saving feature of the driver for my n64 games.
