Hehe here is my last question. Everytime I power up my PC or after a reboot, I need to unplug and replug the ems usb2 adapter for it work. How can I fix this? I am using the 3.0 drivers in windows xp sp2. If I don't do the unplug and replug, I get a blank screen in the properties of the gaming devices in the control panel as if there is no playstation 2 gamepad plugged in even though it is there.

Please un-install the EMS USB2 driver, and see if the problem still exist.
If it doesn't exist any more, that is the problem of the driver. If it still exist, it should be the problem of the windows or USB port.
Please help us to test this problem, we would try to fix it. Thanks.

As the case remain the same after un-installed the driver, this is not related to the driver. It is a compatibility problem between the EMS USB2 and your motherboard. Please note that our EMS USB2 may not be able to support all motherboard 100% perfectly, such that several motherboards may have the same problem as yours. There is no solution for this, we recommend you to dis-connect the EMS USB2 before you boot up your computer. Thanks

I don't understand, can't you fix this problem with a driver upgrade?

As the case remain the same after you have un-installed the driver, this is not related to the driver.
Therefore, this problem could not be solved by upgrading the driver. We are sorry about that.
