Hey all, I just got 2 of these fantastic guns by the look of it and I can't get them to work... !! Got everything set up, installed several drivers over a few hours... the gun turns on, recoils, etc... the led on the bars light up... the buttons work... However... Calibrating it does NOT work!! Hold A+B, LED turns on, I aim it at the top-left side set of TV at infrared group... nothing... shoot everywhere... nothing... The LED still just stays lit, no recoil, no calibrate, no games... Please, someone help or I'll be stuck with these 2 expensive laser pointers! EDIT: Okay, I plugged the LCD bars into the lightgun's power slot (female) and the lightgun's other power slot (male) I plugged into the Y-connector and plugged that into the second USB port. Basically, the gun plugged into 2 USB ports and the bars are plugged into the gun. NOW the gun recognizes it's being pointed at the screen (Laser turns on and off as I point at the screen and away) but calibrating still does nothing!! ARGG!!!

Hey stumperific Please note the followings: 1. The switch (X/P) is at "P". (P for PC/PS2/PS3, X for Xbox) 2. The red LED on the LED bar is ON. (which indicate power ON) I recommend you to install Smog's GunCon2PC driver : xoomer.alice.it/guncon2/Please un-install every TopGun driver before installing the above GunCon2PC driver. 3. Go to device manager, see if you could find the TopGun there. (for GunCon2PC driver, you could find "GunCon2 device" in the device manager) 4. After you have isntalled the GunCon2PC driver, the PC would recognize the gun as mouse. Please check if one of buttons is recognized as "mouse left click". (should be the trigger as I remember) In case (3) and (4) have no problem, the software and the hardware should be OK. You could then follow the steps below to calibrate the gun : I. stand back such that the distance between the gun and the screen is 2-3 times of the distance between the LED stands. II. aim the gun at the screen, the laser pointer should turn ON. Aim the gun off the screen (e.g. floor), the laser pointer should turn OFF. III. Aim the gun every point of the screen and LED stands. If the laser pointer keeps solid red, it's OK. If it flash or turn off, there may be some interruption sources near where you are aimming at. Note : Sun light (even very dim) is a great interruption source. Other light could also be a possible interruption source. IV. In case you don't have problem in III, the environment is OK. You could then hold A+B and calibrate your gun. Please check every of the above points carefully. If it still doesn't work, please tell us the remarks of the above mentioned points in details. Good luck ;D
