Hello,
I received my EMS Top Gun 3 yesterday, but am having an issue with installation, particularly the mounting and power of the 4 Infrared LED's. I operating Windows XP and use a 22" LCD monitor in a dimly lit room.
Based on the instruction manual there are two ways to mount the 4 LED's. I have followed method 2 based on the size of my screen. I connected the cable of the LED's to the Y-shaped cable provided and plugged in the USB into an open USB slot on my desktop but I am receiving no power to the LED's (the blue light that is supposed to light up to show the power is on). I took a pic with my iPhone, and it shows that the Infrared LED's are not on.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to why I cannot get the Infrared LED's to turn on. Everything else has worked fine (drivers, RF connection), but right now the gun is only emulating the mouse button, but not the mouse movement, so I basically have a glorified mouse button/laser pointer.
Has anyone else had any issues with this? I have not seen any threads on this topic, so not sure if I'm just missing something completely obvious.
Thanks.

As I know, iPhone has infrared filter, and thus you could not see infrared via iPhone. Nowadays, most new phone camera has infrared filter. You may try another USB port and check if the blue LED lights or not.
If the blue LED doesn't light, the infrared LED (or the Y-cable) may be defective. For this case, you may contact us for repair / replace. Please email to sales@hkems.com. Thanks.
