GC USB memory adapter driver not found??

Hello there,

I can't install the GameCube memory card adapter on my computers.

When I plug the mem card to the PC, the XP installation wizard pops up saying it found a new usb device, then I point it to the temp folder where the install files are (EM3LINK.INF, etc...) but XP says the folder doesn't contain any information on the hardware (sorry for the approximate translation, my XP is not in English), and the device could not be installed. Other installing methods such as directly pointing the *.inf file don't work either. It only shows up in the device manager as "usb device".

I've tried installing the mem card on my two PCs running XPpro SP2, all software updated, didn't work on both computers.
I tried the 1.61 and 2.1 versions of the adapter software, none worked.
BUT I tested the card on another computer, and it worked just fine, so I don't think the mem card is faulty.

Could you please please help me, what is wrong here?

Please un-install the "usb device" from the "device manager", reconnect the adaptor to PC, and try the files in the link below. It is the latest version of driver (.inf and .sys)

In the hardware isntallation wizard, you should able to find a button called "install from disk". Please click that button and point it to the .inf file.

By the way, if this doesn't work, please try another USB port or use an USB hubs.
