Recently bought an Ems Topgun 3, which worked perfectly for 3 days,up until some hours ago. I had no problems with it so far, but the gun is not moving the mouse pointer and the gun can no longer enter calibration mode (laser pointer does not light up). (Other functions are working. For example, B button-Right click, shooting-mouse click)
I tried another PC several times (OS is win7 and the driver installed successfully) but the result is same. The gun is not moving the mouse pointer and holding A+B will not enter calibration mode and the laser pointer does not light up.
Anyone had a similar issue/has any suggestions on how this could be resolved? Thank you in advance.

Your gun should be defective. You may consider to send it (gun only) back to us, and we would repair / replace it for you. You would only need to pay for the postage.
If you would like to send it back to us, please email to sales@hkems.com, and leave us your country / address (with zip code) / phone number. Thanks.

This same thing is happening to my tg3. It started when my girlfriend unplugged the usb receiver from the pc. Since then I haven't been able to move the mouse. All other buttons and recoil function fine. No laser pointer and unable to enter calibration mode. Any possible fix? Drivers seem to be working properly.

Please replace the battery with new alkaline battery, and see if the problem still occur. Please note that low battery may lead to some strange problem. If it is not the case, please follow the guide below to reset the gun and see if it helps. 1. Turn off the gun. 2. Hold trigger of the gun, don't release it until step 4. 3. Turn ON the gun, do not release the trigger, the laser pointer will flash for around 5 times, and then stay solid red. 4. Release the trigger, the laser pointer should stay solid red, which means that the gun enters calibration mode. You should able to finish the calibration and the gun should work normally. If the above method doesn't help, please inform us the result in each step. Thanks.

This didn't correct my issue at all. I hold the trigger down until the light becomes solid. After I release the trigger the light disappears. If I fire the gun 3 times, the light returns solid but no recoil or response from trigger.
The only thing that happend between the gun working before and it not working now, is the fact that the USB receiver was unplugged. Nothing else. I didn't change any options, batteries are obviously charged, I didn't drop it. I spent money on this gun + hours configuring it and installing 3rd party software. If you can't get your product to work properly for more than a couple days, why bother? I'm so unsatisfied and angry with the product and this company.
