Hi I bought an EMS USB2 Gun Controller Converter to use my Playstation joypads on my PC. i.e. www.hkems.com/product/ps2/ps2-usb2.htmI am running a clean installed RTM version of Windows Vista Ultimate (acquired from MSDN). i.e. Version 6.0.6000. * When I connect the EMS device to my PC, the PC recognizes the device and correctly identifies it as a HIDs compliant device. * When accessing the "Game Controllers" option in Control Panel, there are no controllers listed. * I have tried all of the following without success:- o Unplugging the device and plugging it in again. o Plugging the device into other USB ports on the motherboard & a separate a PCI (USB 2) card. o Trying various drivers, including V3.0 (currently latest on website). I've managed to verify that the device works correctly on a Windows XP (SP2) laptop, so I'm supposing the problem is with the driver / recognition of game controllers in Vista. I noticed an earlier thread on here and another thread on some French message boards commenting on the same problem under Windows Vista RC1. To my knowledge, RTM = final and this will be made available to the general public in January 2007 in the current state. I'd expect any interrim updates to be made through Windows Update. Any idea when Vista users will be able to expect a new driver? Thanks.
