I have an ems usb2 adapter in windows xp sp2. Whenever I set it's mode to normal, any game I try to play crashes. The only way to play is to set the mode to compatible in the gaming devices options in the control panel. I have the version 3.00 drivers installed. How can I fix this?

The game loads, but as soon as the title screen appears, it crashes (freezes). This happened with Stepmania, FIFA 06, ZSNESW...

Did it crush during you config the joypad in the controller option of the game ? Or it just crushes everytime once it enter the game screen ?
Is that you currently using EMS USB2 driver v3.0 ? Does v2.7 has the same problem ?
Please kindly tell us the result, we would try our best to fix this problem. Thanks.

Q12: After I have installed the EMS USB2 driver V3.0, I find that the "House of the Dead 3" and also the games in MAME32 could not run properly. Is it a bug ? How could I fix it ? A:Our engineers have tested the HOD3 and MAME32, and we find that those games have problem with the vibration setting. Please go to the "control panel" --> "game options", and set the vibration option of both joypad (even you have only connected one) to "ON". This problem would be solved. www.hkems.com/qa-ems%20usb2.htm
