I just purchased a TrioLinker Plus II for my BNS DX Extreme Fusion Dance Pad (playstation port). I'm having the standard "dance pad axis problem". It won't register Up+Down or Left+Right at the same time. It's taking the input as analog instead of digital. What do I do? Is there a setting I need to change? Please Help! Here's me holding down two buttons (O and Left). No problems. Both "highlight" as triggered in the control panel: Here's the axis problem. In this shot, I'm also holding down two buttons (Up and Down), but only one registers:

You may use the joy2key function to map the button / cross pad to keyboard key. And then you could config in the DDR (PC) game to use those keyboard keys. I haven't tested this game yet, thus I don't know if the above method could work. By the way, is the dance dance revolution (PC) free for download ? If so, please kindly post a link here. Thanks

I've tried the Joy2Key as well... I can map all the buttons to keystrokes fairly easily (and I can even open Notepad and "type" with my feet). But it STILL won't register when I hit two opposite arrows at the same time. Up+Down and Left+Right don't work. Joy2Key seems to add an extra "translation layer" on top of everything... converting the joystick signal into a keystroke. But this must be an underlying issue. A lot of adapters have this problem! Most of them have a special "dance pad mode" that can be selected which will cause the analogue input to act in a digital fashion. I plan on using this with the most popular DDR Software: www.stepmania.com. Please help! I purchased this specifically because it was advertised as working with dance pads.

I understand your case. Our driver is using a new stanrdard (hat switch), such that the cross pad is not buttons, up/down left/right is not allowed to hold together. In windows XP, the windows default joypad driver for Trio Linker Plus II is also using the hat switch, thus un-install the official driver would not help in this case. For this case, we could fix it by adding a dancing pad mode in our driver. I would pass this to our engineers. Unfortunately, our engineers are very busy recently. The new driver may not able to be up in shortly. After our engineers have finsihed the urgent job on their hand, they would fix this driver immediately. Please kindy wait for us. When the new driver is ready, I would post a link here. Thanks.

Yes, I am having the same problem as the the guy who posted the problem with the dance pad and trio liker plus II. Is there any chance you could send me an e-mail (thedancemasta@hotmail.com) when the driver will be available? It would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work i'm desperately waiting for this driver :-) thanks.

Hello.
I am very sorry that our engineer find that this is the limitation of the hardware, and it is not possible to fix by upgrading the driver.
sorry...

This is a serious problem - the packaging specifically shows a dance mat on the back as a compatible device, and I just purchased one of these for that purpose, as have many others. I find your lack of addressing this problem to be unacceptable, since it is false advertising.
