having trouble setting up TopGun III on (Fat) PS2

tried setting up the TopGun III with 2 different games (Time Crisis 1 & Point Blank 2)
i followed the instructions to calibrate the gun but the RF Receiver light only shows solid red or green & doesn't flash.

any ideas?

Time Crisis 1 and Point Blank 2 are GunCon compatible games. EMS TopGun III could only support GunCon2 compatible games (e.g. Time Crisis 2/3)
