Thanks for letting us know that a driver is in fact coming. But can you please specify some sort of range for how long it might take?
Are we talking weeks, months or years before the driver will be ready?
I want to play my PC games NOW with a controller, if the driver won't be ready until december then I might as well buy a new controller. So please some sort of indication of when the driver will be ready would help me and everybody else quite a lot I think.

I am sorry, it's hard to say. At this moment, I could tell you that it would be ready within this year.

I was running some tests to find out why the standard HID drivers don't work. Vista64 detects 2 HID devices + 2 Gamepads, also from testing it seems that Direct Input can see the pads plugged in. Albeit, the Game Controllers panel, and indeed any games can't.
This shouldn't be a fix that takes that much time to do. Had a go at fixing it myself, but I'm not experienced enough to do so without getting slightly buggy results!

actually, on a whim i tried the current windows 7 32bit driver on a 64 bit machine. While the configuration options didn't show up in the windows game controllers menu. I was able to map the buttons on the games I play.

ok as background from my previous post. I use the adapter to play Stepmania. the DDR simulator. I successfully mapped all 6 buttons needed to play the game in windows 7 x64. I played 1 song. and upon entering the score screen directly after the first song, the adapter failed. Windows reported a failed hardware error. I have not been able to get it working since.

I am having a problem with EMSUSB2 Dualshooter on Windows 7 32bit. I installed the drivers and it picks up the ports, and lets me get to a config screen, but the buttons don't respond at all, nor can I set it up. They did ONCE, but then stopped after I mapped out the buttons by writing them on a piece of paper lol. Switch is set to PC, and it DOES work on other machines. Let me know if there's anything that can be done!

hi, tranoidnoki. Visit control panel --> game option, select a joypad, select property and you should able to find the following interface. Click the "Setting" tab on the top, and select the "Joypad" option at the bottom left. And then you should able to map the buttons as you like. Finally, click the "Apply" button at the bottom right to apply the change. And the problem would be solved. Thanks (10-19)

It is on the driver upgrade list, but it would not be ready shortly. It should be available within this year.
