Hi all,
New to forum, just received my RF TOPGUN, installed driver and although all seemed to go well, calibrating the gun, getting accuracy and a steady mouse have yet too arrived.
A little background; computer runs on Windows 7 64bit variety. As a display I’m using my 55 inch Visio LED display with the IR LED stands at left and right, with the RED LED’s at the upper right side.
I think is worth to mention that without touching any of the settings on the console the mouse only follows movement on a limited area of the screen. When I aim the gun outside this area the blue light on the D-Pad goes out. Did I mention the jerkiness of the mouse, WOW! Mind you all this and I have not run a game yet.
Any thoughts

Please aim the gun at the four corners and the edges of the screen, check if the blue LED (inside D-pad) keeps solid blue.
If the blue LED turns off when you aim it near the edge, your gun should be too close to the screen. Please note that the distance between the gun and the screen should be around 2-3 times of that between the LED stands. If it flashes, there should be infrared interruption near where the gun is aiming at.
If the blue LED keeps solid blue in the above test, please follow the user manual to finish the hardware calibration.
Finally, please also note that other 2.4G Hz wireless device (e.g. wireless router) may interrupt the RF TopGun.
Thanks.

Rebooted the PC then went into reinstall the drivers. I keep getting this error "Error attempting to install HID Mini Driver for EMS Top Gun, INF does not have digital signature. Please help I tried to re unlock those files a few times with no success

Hi i bought the EMS topgun III and i have all the hardware plugged in.
I downloaded the 3 files needed from the video I founded to setup EMS topgun III on my 42inch LCD with window 7 64bit system. DSEO13b, Topgun_win7_64_beta and removewatermark.
My steps are run DSEO and enter test mode than add the 2 files hidmini.sys and hidtopgun.sys and reboot computer. After reboot I will run the removewatermark pressing Y and when finished enter. finally after that I run "Topgun panel" but when I load up the program the gun isn't listen on the side. Anyone know why? I installed this as admin and tried using " before and after the path and with out the " just the path to those 2 file but still nothing.
Any help would be great. Thank you

As you are running Vista 32bit, this problem is nothing to do with the driver signature.
A possible problem is that you have directed the driver installation wizard to a wrong location. The driver is located in the same folder as "Profile" directory, but not inside the "Profile" directory.

Still no good, this thing is starting to piss me off, i have 2 guns here that are unuseable. I have directed it to the right folder but still comes up with a message saying that it could not install.
The message says as follows....
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it
USB Browser Mouse "With mouse picture"
An error occured during the installation of this device
The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may because the INF was written for windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor.
If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software...
So thats what it says, its got me fu*(ked
Thanks
Mark
