Has it ever work on your PC ?
If it worked on your PC before, it should not be the problem of the setting of your PC. If so, this could be a bad contact problem. Re-connect the card to GB Transferer 2 may solve the problem. Thanks.

Update: I've just used another printer port cable and tested GB Transferer 2 on WinXP and on Safe Mode and didn't made any difference.
There must be something wrong with the Parallel communication or the Smart Card reader. And I've tested my GBA and GBC games on there and no luck.

I'm not sure why it wont work anymore unless the Driver Reviver or anything make my GB Transferer no longer to connect to my GB games anymore.
Could it be the Smart Card port failing or beyond repair? Or maybe it needs a clean with some no corrosive alcohol with a cotton bud?

In BIOs setting, you should set the parallel port to "ECP" or "EPP" or "ECP + EPP".
If the device worked before, the problem would not be caused by BIOs setting.
If it is not the problem of BIOs setting, it could be a bad contact problem. You may clean the ports and reconnect everything again, and see if the program could detect the card.

Well my 2008 ASUS BIOS doesnt appear to have a Parallel setting for EPP or taht in the MS-DOS BIOS menu... I don't know how long my SRAM will live on my Pokemon games if I can't find out why it won't connect properly.

Actually my chipset is a Gigabyte not ASUS. I try to google and see if they do support it.
System Model GA-73PVM-S2

Does your PC has an onboard parallel port ? Please note that this device only works with onboard parallel port.

Well I tried everything else and I think this device needs replacing. Is there anyplace I can buy the replacement and do you need my old device for recycling?

Just wanted to leave my settings for others to see. This is what worked for me.
1. Old PC with windows xp installed and parallel port on it. 2. parallel port set to EPP mode in bios 3. parallel port set to LPT 2 in device manager in windows 4. setup menu set to LPT 1 in transferrer software (color and grayscale settings are dependent on GBC or GB cartridges, respectivly)
download and up SRAM work fine for me. Tested with pokemon red, blue, yellow, warioland 2, zelda links awakening
